One Graphic, Three Garments: What Actually Changes
The same graphic on a hoodie, a tee, and a short isn't the same design decision made three times. It's three different decisions that happen to share one motif.
"A logo travels across a product line unchanged. A graphic doesn't get that luxury — it has to be redesigned, quietly, every time the garment changes."

Why the Same File Doesn't Just Drop Onto Three Garments
A hoodie offers a large, flat back and front panel and a hood surface a tee simply doesn't have; a tee offers a single continuous front panel without a zipper or drawstring interrupting it; a short offers a much smaller, often curved or paneled surface shaped by an entirely different construction — which means a graphic built for one of these genuinely has to be re-scaled, re-placed, and sometimes re-simplified for each of the others, not just resized proportionally (Techpacker, The Ultimate Guide to Tech Packs in Fashion).
Where the Judgment Calls Actually Happen
The graffiti smiley graphic across Raw Guild's hoodie, tee, and short development for Flow Society kept its core identity — the same lettering style, the same character — while every specific placement, scale, and level of detail was adjusted per garment, exactly the kind of case-by-case adaptation a real multi-garment graphic system requires rather than a single file exported three times.
Why This Is Harder Than It Looks From the Outside
A shopper seeing all three pieces together should recognize them instantly as the same design family without ever noticing that none of the three graphics are actually identical files — that invisible consistency is the actual goal, and it only works when the adaptation between garments is handled deliberately rather than automatically.
